Julie Speetjens is not a physician, nurse, psychotherapist, chiropractor, massage therapist, physical therapist, acupuncturist, or any other state-licensed healthcare provider under Florida law (including Chapters 456, 457, 458, 459, 460, 461, 464, 468, and 490, Florida Statutes). Julie does not diagnose medical or psychological conditions, does not provide medical or psychological treatment, and does not make recommendations that constitute medical, psychological, or therapeutic care.
All services offered are intended solely for relaxation, stress reduction, spiritual development, energetic balance, and general well-being, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, mitigate, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, as defined by Florida law.
Energy healing is considered a gentle complementary modality and does not interfere with any medical or psychological treatments you may be receiving. Reiki is not massage therapy as defined under Florida Statute 480, and does not involve manipulation of soft tissue, physical adjustments, or bodywork regulated by the State of Florida.
Julie Speetjens is a Usui Reiki Ryoho Holy Fire® III Reiki Master/Teacher and Registered Karuna Reiki® Master/Teacher with the International Center for Reiki Training. She is also an Angelic Reiki Practitioner, Lightarian™ Reiki Master/Teacher, Certified Medical Reiki Master, and holds Certificates in Energy Medicine, Music Therapy, and Sound Healing from the University of Colorado. Julie carries professional liability insurance appropriate for complementary wellness practitioners.
Mediumistic and Psychic Readings are considered spiritual and experimental services under Florida law. Results will vary, and no specific outcomes can be implied or guaranteed. Any decisions made based on information received during a Reading are the sole responsibility of the Client. Julie does not provide medical, legal, financial, marital, or psychological advice.
By receiving services from Soaring Heart Energies, clients agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Julie Speetjens and all associated parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, or expenses arising from their participation, to the fullest extent permitted under Florida law.

All personal information and session content are kept confidential, except where disclosure is required by Florida law - such as imminent harm to self or others, suspected abuse or neglect of a minor, elder, or vulnerable adult, or as required by court order.
Clients acknowledge that they have read and fully understand this disclosure, which is provided in accordance with Florida law regarding unlicensed complementary and alternative healthcare services. Clients understand that:
- Julie Speetjens is not a licensed healthcare provider under Florida Statutes.
- Reiki and all services offered by Soaring Heart Energies are complementary practices and do not replace medical, psychological, or therapeutic care.
- No diagnosis, medical advice, psychological advice, or guarantee of results is offered or implied.
- They have been advised to consult a board-certified physician, licensed mental health professional, or other appropriate licensed provider for any medical or psychological concerns.
- Reiki will be administered as a hands-off, no-touch modality.
- They voluntarily assume all risks and responsibilities associated with receiving these services.
